I have not been receiving RCS messages from iphone users since Dec 2023. Messages that are strictly text go through, but any message that contains emoji, gif, photo, video do not get sent. A notification that says “message is available for download” shows up, but the actual message itself doesn't download. This seems to have started after an android update in Dec 2023.
I've tried every help forum available… deleting, uninstalling,re-installing, updating, etc. Nothing seems to work.

As of now, iPhone can’t receive RCS messages, only MMS and SMS is possible.
You could ask the other people using Android to set the settings to send as MMS or SMS when RCS is not available.
