setting up a new phone, all transfers completed and my phone number was successfully transfered but it will only show SOS mode. imessages show that my number is being verified. when i go into into my cellular network settings it all looks like things should be working but its not. help!

Try restarting your phone.


I’ve done that a few times. Reset settings, took the sim card out and put it back. I’m stuck. 


Does the sim work in your old phone?

 

Did you confirm the sim was working in a phone prior to porting your number over?


Hi ​@cfollett878, did you mean to convert your physical SIM card to an eSIM? The eSIM looks to be installed on your new phone but we’re not seeing a network connection. Is the eSIM active on your phone?

I’m having trouble finding where to reactivate my sim. I can find get to where you would activate a sim but it’s telling me mine isn’t available to be activated. All I know is I followed the steps when I turned on the new phone to transfer from and old one. My number was transferred and no longer works with my old phone or sim but also doesn’t work with the new sim.
