Network Outages in my home

Over the last few weeks I have repeatedly been losing services on my phone at my house. It will last for hours at a time. I can’t receive texts or make phone calls or use data when this happens. I live about 3 mins outside of town and once I leave my house and drive into town I gain service again. This was never a problem before and I’ve been with koodo for several years.

Hi there,

what device are you currently using? And have you followed any of the trouble shooting steps outlined in the link? If not I suggest you try them and respond here. Besides that if it is a google pixel device currently the most recent software update has caused issues with the Koodo network.

I have an iPhone 11 and my partner has an iPhone XR. We have both been experiencing these issues. I have tried most of the things on that list except for resetting my network settings. I can try that later when I’m home. I thought that because it was affecting both our phones it would be some kind of network outage but when I look at that outage link there aren't any in our area.

Check the cell towers in your area.

I noticed once that a tower went out since the building the tower was on was being demolished and rebuilt.  That cell tower never went back up sadly
