I transferred my Rogers phone number to my Koodo account. The transfer is complete successfully but the field ‘My number’ on my iPhone still shows the temporary number provided by Koodo. I tried several times to change the number manually but in vain. It seems only the carrier Koodo can do it.

We can confirm from our end that the transfer was completed. 

Have you tried resetting the network settings on your phone?
