Hi there,

So you can switch the sim card at any time through your self serve account, though you would have to unsuspend the number first to do the change. Once changed, the previous sim will no longer be usable. While the number is suspended, no one can use the number or sim.  So to deactivate the sim and get a new one you would firstly, reactivate the number and get a new Koodo sim card from your nearest Koodo location. Second, go onto your self serve and follow these steps to change your sim card https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/koodo-sim-support. After that, your previous sim card is deactivated and your number will be on your new one. Sorry that this is happening to you, I know it sucks. Best of luck with everything.

Regarding the suspension. How did you suspended your SIM? Did you follow the instruction here? https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/reporting-your-lost-or-stolen-phone if you did, your SIM was deactivated. You don’t have to worry about it.

If you want a replacement SIM. I recommend you visit a Koodo kiosk and ask a rep.
