just switched my phone and plan but my i have no service

I don’t know what to do currently. Got my new phone yesterday along with a new plan but I have no service. Just SOS only. Was I supposed to do something before hand?

Did you insert the SIM card in the phone? Sorry if that is too obvious a question :)

Yes, I’ve inserted the sim in the phone and I’ve restarted my phone plenty throughout the day, but to no avail.

Gotcha. When you say “new plan”, did you just sign up with Koodo? Or did you have an existing plan that you changed in order to get a phone?

Been with Koodo for 2 years. New plan new phones. Upgraded.

Did you insert the sim card from your old phone into the new one?

The one’s that come in the box with the new phone are spares in case you need them and come unactivated.
