I am using Koodo since August 2024. Coming from Telus. I had Iphone 14 pro and the internet speed was really good and there were no problem. 

Recently I got a phone plan from Koodo and purchased Iphone 16 pro and my internet speed always slow even the cellular shows 4-5 bar. The contents are looading slowly. 

Plus, I live in heart of downtown Vancouver,BC.  Is there any recent issue with new iphones anthenna? Or is it something related with Koodo? If there is no issue with iphones, i will likely cancel and return the phone and join Telus or Rogers

Will you please let us know what speeds you get if you run a speed test here https://www.speedtest.net/?

Have you tried resetting the network settings on your phone? (this will reset the saved bluetooth and wifi connections)


Hi Yes, I tried resetting network as well. 

The internet speed is always around 90-100 Mbps which should be okey to load the content. Not sure why there are some slowness. 


Koodo is using Tellus/Bell network. It shouldn't be an issue in the area where Telus signal was good. Were you testing speed indoor or outdoor? Did the issue happen everywhere you do?

Are you using any type of VPN profile on your device. I am in the greater Vancouver area as well. I personally didn’t have issue with downtown area.

In the worst case, I recommend you visit a local kiosk there and ask a rep to check.

Are you using the normal Ookla speedtest? what was the “ping” time? I wonder if the phone didn’t share the location and your test server was off.

As I mentioned earlier, you could try to visit a Koodo location and ask someone there to check.
