I-Phone SE (2020) frozen after phone call

After a phone call, the button to end the call (Phone on red background) did not react, After that no app whatsoever was accessible. I cannot even switch the power off. No reaction at all. Any ideas?

Try a force restart

Can you try the following to get your phone to restart?
1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button.
4. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Thanks, I tried that, but it doesn’t do anything. When I tried it, the how screen showed up. I can’t switch the phone off, so I can’t restart either. I wonder if i need to wait for the battery to empty

As you go through the sequence are you holding the side power button for a while?  Like for 20 seconds until you see the apple logo?
