My iPhone X Max has a physical Sim and I am attempting to do an eSim convert/transfer to my new iPhone 16 Pro Max.  I get a ‘Unable to transfer Phone Number’ error message on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.  Anyone have an idea on how to resolve this issue? Thanks.

Are you a postpaid customer?

Have you tried to put the physical SIM from Xs Max into the 16 Promax and convert the physical SIM to eSIM in that device?
