I recently upgraded to S24 which doesn't have an aux input. I don't have Bluetooth in my car so I connect my phone to the aux cable to take calls. Since I've switched phones, I have purchased a USB-c <-> aux adaptor to connect my phone to the cars sound system, but everyone I talk to seems to hear their voice echo. Any way to fix this?
It sounds like a bit of feedback since the mic catches what comes on the mic.
This is a tough one.
If you lower the volume does it help?
No unfortunately it does not seem to improve when I turn the volume down.
You may want to consider a Bluetooth FM transmitter. This technology lets you stream music from your phone and make or receive calls hands-free over your vehicle’s sound system via Bluetooth. Another benefit is that you no longer need to use the aux input; you can go completely wireless. The Bluetooth FM transmitter plugs into a vehicle power outlet and pairs with your S24.
I have used various Bluetooth FM transmitters that deliver exceptional sound quality with no echo or feedback during calls. Simpler designs tend to perform best, and most include phone charging options. Nulaxy and Syncwire stand out for their ease of setup and reliable call quality.
The downside is that radio use is limited if you’re a radio listener, as the Bluetooth FM transmitter uses an unoccupied FM radio frequency to transmit audio.
I’ll try this, thanks!
