1-866-448-8030 is a scam?

I have received phone calls from 1-866-448-8030 late at night for 2 nights in a row. As soon as I say “hello?” They disconnect the call. I search online and it says it’s a phone number associated with koodo, even from a post from Koodo themselves, but when speaking to a representative through a callback today I was told this is not a legit phone number for them and there is no record on my account of them trying to reach out to me. 
Has anyone had this happen to them? I am just confused on what the scam would be when they immediately disconnect the call upon my answering, confused as to posts online saying it is legit, but the representative says it is not. What is going on here??
