A decade ago, I had a subaccount under my mother’s account. She hasn’t been with Koodo in years.

Now, I am trying to buy a new phone, but the shipping address has her name auto-filled and doesn’t let me change it.

On a related topic, the promo text messages I get about once per month ALSO have her name on it. I’d also like to have that fixed.

Can I still order my new phone today even if the recipient name is wrong? I want to use the Black Friday deal, and scheduling callbacks via the chatbot is broken.


@N_Carr Technically, you might be able to place the order, however, if you then wish to proceed with the transfer of ownership and transfer the line into your name, a credit check is required and only then you will be able to check if the transfer if the tab is possible.
