Hi,

I was unaware of the rule that you can only pause your account ONCE per year. I am overseas for a full year, but had to make an unexpected visit back to Canada. I unpaused my service for several weeks, and am trying to pause it again.

This seems like an unfortunate rule that takes advantage of people who have “life” happen while they are supposed to be away.

Is there any way of allowing a second pause in service, still within the same calendar year as originally intended?

You would have to contact Koodo directly and ask a rep to assist. If you are overseas, you could contact them via Facebook/X messaging (links are below at the bottom of this forum page)


If that doesn't work, you can ask to change your plan to the $15 starter plan. Just make sure you don't accidentally roaming with it.
