Hi,

I recently got a new phone number with Koodo yesterday online. However, Canada post is on strike so I wont get the number for who knows how long, is there a way I can get issued an esim while i wait? Or go to a store to get my sim issued?

Hi there,

so if your koodo self serve is active, have received email confirmation of your order, and you see the number that you setup, you can just go to a koodo kiosk and acquire a physical or ESIM and just do a sim swap on your self serve or at the store and start using your service.

If the self serve isn’t active and you do not see your plan and/or phone you chose, then you can’t do this, you would have to wait. You can also only change the sim, if you ordered a device you would have to wait for it to arrive as it can’t be swapped at a store.

Also heads up, a replacement SIM usually cost’s $10, the same for ESIM but can sometimes cost $20. I hope this helps 😎

Koodo is shipping via alternatives and you should get your sim unless you use a PO Box or on a Rural Route.
