When going to self service i see an advertisement for the pixel 8 but when trying to order i cannot get it ordered, while my partner was able to get it (same subscription)

when you visit koodo's site it seems that the phone is actually out of stock, looks like your partner was able to nab one of the last few. If you want the promotion you will have to wait for it to become in stock again though it may not as the phone is now discontinued. Thanks Oliver! I am definitely going to thy thay! The only thing i don't understand is why promote a product that Koodo cannot deliver so explicitly. That doesn't make sense to me.

I dont think the programed advert and the inventory system are connected or talk to each other in any way.

I know that it feels like it should be connected but Koodo isn’t that high tech.  They are basically running on string and tape.


Plus at this point I’d wait out for Black Friday deals later this month.


It still cannot be delivered while the ad is still prominently showing, feels deceiving and disappointing.

It’s no different than a sale being posted online and inventory in store is sold out.  Companies typically keep the sales banner up for the run of the promotion.
