trying to close account aoutside Canada is hard!

hi, can anyone here advise steps to settle up close a monthly account after leaving Canada? Kodoo’s lack of apparent  customer service makes it QUITE hard.there is no way to close account yourself or contact them in self service.I have no options from what I can see, since I am not roaming (so no call back available) and I don’t have  facebook or twitter accounts but that is how they want us to contact them? no email contacts?I googled for a customer service email  address and found one,  but it doesn’t actually work!  please haallp?

Billing details - remove

How can we have more privacy on our lines? Remove all the details of each call, or txt, time of day etc - it’s too much., Going forward and/or how from the past. Or Get rid of old bills. There is too much details for shared lines we are finding.

No Resolution from Koodoo

I had got Koodo Monthly Post paid plan 6 months back along with a promotion from Telus.I was kind of forced to take a koodo phone at the time. Suddenly, starting last month, they have spiked my bill dollars. I requested a callback, and finally got one today. And the person on the other side started selling me other plans without listening to my issue. Then they called me again and there was no voice from the other side. I don't know how to reach out to them. They have literally spiked my bills citing the old plan has expired and I can see them selling plans at the same price to new customers in all the malls and shopping centers around Burnaby and Tricities. Unprofessional and pathetic experience.

Travelling International mistake on bill

Hello I am trying to straighten out my Billing I am traveling international teaching English for 6 month I put my wife and my line on seasonal hold for 6 months I just arrive to the country I am in went to pay first bill and they have transferred the full tab to my account bill when I was told that I would pay the 15 per line plus the tab monthly amount I have no way of contacting some one

request refund/credit for inclrrect roaming charges

Hi,I’ve acquired some incorrect roaming charges on my account, I didn’t realize until I had already paid my most recent bill. I believe the total was $28 in Roaming charges. Would I be able to have this reversed? Whether that be a refund or credit towards my next bill? Thank you!

secondary phone number gets better plans

im the primary account holder on the account, i pay for both numbers on the account, however everytime i check the plans, the secondary number always has better ones vs my own which are unavailable for me to select on my own number. why is this?ive called in previously to have koodo match the plans and pricing which they normally do without issue but why should i have to do this every single time.also why is it that while im the primary number and primary account holder, the secondary number gets all the promotional texts and alerts where i get nothing? ive called in before and had them change this but it never sticks

payment bumped

I am billed well over my rate plan for 2 months now. The Koodo sign in wouldn’t take my contact number which made it difficult to contact CSR. I have a Koodo account but my mobile plan doesn’t show. only my internet plan does. How can I resolve my billing discrepancy? Who should I talk with regarding my bill?

call backs not connecting

I have had the problem with call backs. When they call back, the automated message asks to press #1 to connect/take the call. I have done this, for the three attempts they made to contact me, and the automated message comes on saying ‘sorry: couldn’t connect’.Is there any other way to get personalized conversation with a Koodo agent, or does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!

WhatsApp transfer to new Google Pixel 8

I have completed a successful transfer from my old Samsung S20 to my new Google Pixel 8 with the exception of WhatsApp which refuses to initialize despite having tried everything that WhatsApp help suggests. Now they suggest contacting Koodo. Any ideas? Thanks

Hello. I was charged easy roam all the while being on Vancouver Island. This charge was 3:20pm October 15th while I was in Victoria BC Canada. Can you kindly reverse this charge please? Thank you.

Charged for easy roam - no travel happened

Was driving through Northern Ontario, phone connected to US and charged me for easy roam despite me never going into the states - was driving alone so I could not turn off in time. Can I have that charge removed please?

Canada-US plan

I plan on travelling to the US for 4 weeks. Easy Roam will be very expensive if I want to use my phone everyday.Does Koodo still offer the Canada-US plan? I can’t find it anywhere on the website. If not, I will have to buy a T-Mobile prepaid plan when I arrive in the US.

I was having issues with getting notifications that I was at risk of roaming charges due to me picking up on a stray signal from the united states.  So I set my network as koodo and turned off scan for available networks to avoid this. Now I keep getting notifications that my koodo network is unavailable,  search for available network.  This only happens when I am at home and on wifi.  Why is this, and how can I prevent it. It's quite annoying.

Need to end seasonal hold after 1 month of use

Hi! I went on seasonal hold on Oct 1, 2024 but need to switch back to a plan with Koodo at the earliest. Self-serve is not working and redirects me to “you cant choose a perk right now.” Chat function offers a call back which is not possible on a seasonal hold. Can a rep help me? This is a time sensitive matter.
