Long story short, I opted out from Koodo and my final bill has ‘negative balance’. From a previous conversation in the community, apparently I was supposed to get the refunds. When and how will I get them?
If you had preaathorized payment setup, they will refund to that. However, if you didn’t have that setup, you would receive a cheque to the address on file in self-serve. If I recall correctly, it might take up to 6 weeks. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/things-know-about-cancelling-koodo
I dont have a pre authorised payment setup. But. 6 weeks is kind of long. Should I be getting the refunds if I setup a pre authorised payment now?
I honestly have no idea why it takes 6 weeks. I honestly don’t know if it changes if you set it up after the fact. Let me flag a rep to see if they know. My guess is once a certain point is reached, it’s going to be processed by the non-pre auth way.
