Switched from Telus to Koodo and they never kept my number…

 

I got my Sim card today and noticed the sign up email that tells me my account number had a totally different phone number assigned.

Not sure who to contact and who can fix this for me…

If I can’t get my old number switched over I’m finding another provider.

Hi there,

So the number assigned is just a temporary phone number until your sim card arrived. Now that it has arrived, you can port your phone number over. To do this, you just have to follow the steps in the article below. Just make sure to have your Telus account number ready and to respond to the port text message within 90 mins. More info can be found in the link. 

I hope this clears things up 🙂 if you have difficulty you can also schedule a call back with a rep and they can port the number, or visit your closest koodo kiosk or Telus store and they can do it as well 👍

I called Telus

They switched the phone to Koodo and then they transferred the number for me!

All Fixed!!!
