I live along the US border. Someone called my husband to update MY PHONE AND MY PLAN without my consent. When I questioned the roamimg possibility because of where we live and work,  I was assured it wouldn't happen. Yet here I am with roamimg charges on my bill. I'm not interested in going through this drama month after month for a cell phone through koodo, because of wjere I live. 

Ok so there are multiple things going on here.

 

  1. I understand you live by the US border and your cell may connect to to a US tower, causing some accidental roaming.  You have a few options to prevent this.  You can set your network settings from Automatic to Manual and then select Koodo.

    Or you can change to a CAN-US plan in your self serve

  2. Why was there a call to your husband?  Did you or him request a callback from Koodo?  Was the call a cold call trying to get him to sign up?  What resulted from the call?  Was something changed?  Was personal info given out?  I also worry that it would be a scam call

  3. What drama are you refering to?  From your profile I see this is your first post on the community.
