I have received a defective phone and after asking for a replacement I got an email stating a replacement had been sent out but no tracking number in the email.

I then spoke with an agent, he told me they would only send replacement after receiving the defective phone.  That doesn’t make sense and I saw some posts here that be advised to hold onto the return until  strike is over.

What should I do?  Christmas is on the corner and my getting the phone is in such a mess still ?   Can’t Koodo just send out the replacement and get the return after the strike under the circumstance ?

Hi @FreddyNB

Sorry for the misunderstanding!

Regarding the phone replacement, we have verified and it should be shipped to you before sending the defective one, in case you have opted for getting a replacement since the one you got is defective.

For the one that you have to return, if you got the instructions in the email to return it via Canada Post, then you’d need to hold for the return, more info here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/canada-post-labour-disruption?srsltid=AfmBOopTkVgF3kfGcK8f4ufuwcav6lxcpkRXeAx2e8efE7O5c6ateXsw

@Flo Koodo thanks a lot Flo, that definitely sounds much better.  But could I get a tracking number for the replacement phone so that I can find out in case anything goes wrong during the shipment?

Thanks

@FreddyNB Did you get any shipping information in the meantime? If not, please let us know.

Hi Flo,  no, I didn’t get any shipping info at all.  That gets me worried.  Please help.

Got it.  Thanks so much, you saved my day.  I spent hours talking on the phone seeking for that info but finally got it from you.   Appreciated !
