Hi. I applied for a 2-year contract with a Iphone 14 over the phone on 2024-12-02 cyber monday.

I got the phone delivered, but I called the Koodo agent through call back on 2024-12-12 and asked for cancellation (given that I have 1 month of return period).

The agent told me that I would be getting the email with returning slip and instruction.

However, I haven’t gotten it as of today.

I called agent few times to make sure I get the email.

The agent tells me that I should get the email soon, but it is becoming almost one week.

I am just worried that I might not be able to return and cancel the service within the return period, which may lead extra charge. Did anyone have similar issue like me? What should I do? Thank you in advance for your time and help..

Hi. I did callback request 3 times to ask for return label, and the agent told me that I will be getting soon. But I haven’t received an email.. Also, I haven’t transferred my number to Koodo yet (i.e. I have a temporary number from Koodo)...

Hi ​@ddd2332 we’ve checked your account and the return was just approved on December 16. The notes on the account indicated that the email with return instructions will be sent to the email address on file in the next 2-3 business days. 
The return is to be processed through Canada Post using the Koodo return policy number provided once offices re-open. 

Once the device is received and the condition is verified by our warehouse, refunds and credits are usually added within 2-4 weeks. 

Please note, the refund could take longer if there are any issues with the device when it is returned.

Thank you for letting me know. The service started on December 5th (even before I got my sim card and the phone). My sim card and phone was delivered on December 11th, and I requested cancellation on December 12th, So far I haven’t received the email yet. I am just worried that the delay of getting email would let me send back the device after the return period. What happens if the email does not come within the return period? I find it very strange and stressed that it takes such a long time to get return instruction from Koodo...


That’s odd, have you also checked the spam/junk folder for any emails from Koodo?

The return was already approved within the required period so you don’t have to worry about missing the deadline.

Yes, I checked the spam folder and I did not get any email from Koodo yet.. :S
