If I were to purchase a phone and plan today. And I’m not “happy” with the phone. When I return it, am I stuck with Koodo? I must get another phone to go with my plan?

What happens if a better device/ comes  along while I await delivery. Can I cancel/refuse and get cheaper phone/plan?

Also typically if the better deal is within 2 weeks of purchase, it’s something that can just be adjusted. Also, phones are pretty cyclical on when they release. You know when a new phone is coming well in advance.


So black friday is a week away so I would hold off on any purchase until then.

The return process is also messy as hell and takes tons of time.

I would not use the return policy like im returning a tshirt at Walmart.

Be sure when you are buying your phone.  If there is an issue with your phone or you feel like you made the wrong choice, by all means return it.  But dont expect the tab to be reversed immediately.  THe phone needs to be sent back and there is processing time.  If you get another phone, you will likely need to pay out the tab right away and later on this will get all reversed once the phone is received and the reutrn processed.  Returns are likely a lower priority compared to sales.

When you return your phone you are not returning your plan, you can choose to cancel your plan too.  If you plan on doing that, I would hold off on porting your number over as that will complicate things immensely and you wouldnt want to lose your number.

If there are new plans that come up it may not be available to you.  Promo plans tend to be offered to new customers.
