I recently changed my service provider to Koodo(Saturday), since then my SMS service isn't  working. I cannot text anyone, nor receive it. I can't even get an OTP on the my number due to which I can't create self care account. PLEASE HELP ME ASAP

Did you restart your phone after the port transfer?


Why would you even ask such a stupid question? I have tried everything I can't even contact support as I cannot receive text message. Koodo team please help me.

You didn't state what or what you didn't try - people aren't mind readers. 


We are not Koodo employees and certainly not your servants. I hope you find the assistance you need.

Why cant you contact Koodo support?  Koodo support is not through text.

Does incoming and going calls work?  How about cellular data?


Apologies for my behavior, I am really frustrated these days beacuse I cannot send nor receive SMS service, I am in a crisis here. My cellular data, incoming, outgoing is working all fine and i also tried koodo support but i cannot get the text messages, that they are sending. How do I talk to representative?

We can look into it from our end however we could not identify an account based on the log in method you used here. You can log out of the Community and when you log in, use the Self Serve option, as shown in the picture below and we would gladly look into that for you:

When I am going for creating a self care account, it’s sending me an OTP, which i am unable to receive beacuse SMS service isn't working. However, I do have my Account number when I transferred to Koodo. Here it is: 10000004388406

Unfortunately, we were unable to locate your Koodo account.

Do you still have the old sim card from the old provider?

If yes, can you check if that one is still active? If it’s still active, then the transfer wasn’t successful.
