Hi i purchased a prepaid esim from koodo yesterday. But then i found out that my phone isn't compatible to the esim. So i was wondering if i can just buy a physical sim card and switch/add that prepaid esim number to the physical sim card? Or i should just contact the customer service and ask for a refund? And why is it that hard to get to the customer service?
Where did you purchase the eSIM? My suggestion would be to go back to the store where you bought it, and ask for your options...

I purchased it online unfortunately
I wasn’t aware Koodo sold eSIM codes online…. can you confirm you purchased it from Koodo? If not, unfortunately I think you may need to go back to the party who sold it to you… :(
Yes, i purchased it from kudoo. They do sell them online.
Hi there,
So yes you can purchase a physical prepaid sim from a koodo kiosk or Telus store and do a sim replacement on your self serve. This will move the number to the physical sim.
You can try and get a refund by setting up a call back with a rep, but esims once active are non-refundable as they can't be reused. They're a one time use kinda deal so I doubt they will refund you. I hope this clears things up steps to change the sim can be found in the link below.

I actually went to a tellus store today and the guy that works there told me they never dealt with esims before, he suggested me to buy a physical sim card and contact the customer service and ask them to add the prepaid esim to that physical card. And that's what i did I'm just waiting for the call back from them. But first I'll make sure if they do a refund or not.
