I am looking to add a line to my Koodo account.
It looks like I need to bring my own phone to purchase the starter plan that works best for me.
After I purchase the phone, do I then order a SIM card and wait for it to arrive before I purchase my plan?

For postpaid plans you select your plan at the same time you order the sim. The sim will arrive already activated, simply put it in the phone and you should be good to go. Once you've received the sim card you can port your landline number to koodo. Note that porting landline numbers takes 2-3 business days to complete and incoming calls will still be routed to the landline until the port is finished.
