It would be nice for existing users to be included in the promos. I see a Canada US plan available as introductory for $45.00 but I'm not able to join. It is also available to Quebec citizens but not us in Ontario. Somewhat unfair. Should I cancel the Koodo service I have now and rejoin as a new customer to qualify for the deal???

You could, but only if you don’t value your number. Once you cancel, your number will be gone for good. There are two things to try: either talk to Koodo and see if they are willing to give you that plan, or sign up with a competitor who offers the plan as well.
