Phone calls for an extra line promotion

I’ve been getting calls from a supposed Koodo agent wanting me to add an extra line to my phone.
Is this legit?

That’s hard to tell based on the information you gave… what gave you the impression that it might not be legit?

The person had a foreign accent.

Koodo like a lot of companies create call lists to seek out additional sales opportunities.

Well I don’t give out my info on the phone.

There should be things like this on Koodo’s website that if I wanted it, I could get it there.

I do not trust people calling me on the phone about any so-called promotions.

Just ask them to take your name off the call list.
