Which number did you call? And which number said that you were lying to? As well, have you received the bill yet? Or just the service agreement?
It was a Telus/Koodo winback number and later confirmed to be legit by the second Koodo rep (from customer service callback on the Koodo website).
The second (callback) rep was the one who told me such a plan didn’t exist.
I haven’t received the bill yet as I just subscribed yesterday but, from both my contract and my conversation with two different reps (callback and later loyalty team), it seems there are no promos or discounts that were added.
The win back number and normal customer service didn’t have a direct communication. They don’t see the same offer or notes by the other team. Hence it is conceivable that the normal rep can’t see the offer on your account.
If you still insist, you might have to follow the same channel that you got the offer.
I tried calling them back 1 (866) 558-4150.
They won’t honour the plan they offered. I insisted they review the recording from the initial conversation and they became defensive, stating privacy concerns.
Needless to say, not impressed with this outcome. Just want to cancel but can’t even do that until the phone is returned.
What also upsets me is that I’m seeing others on this and other forums having successfully activated similar offers (below $40 including free se24fe) yet when I call loyalty, the best they can offer is $49 + $5 se24fe. I don’t understand the inconsistency…

Honestly, we don’t have answer here and solution for you to get the plan. The best bet is to ask people in the forum that you find the deal. They might have some other workaround, hopefully.
That’s the thing that frustrates me. I’m seeing others successfully getting through to loyalty and being offered these plans ($29 for 20gb+, free phone), yet when I call loyalty, they inform me that such plans are impossible. Clearly not impossible if others are able to get them through the official channel.
That along with being lied to/ having to go through the process of cancellation/ currently not even being able to open a new plan is so infuriating.
At this point I guess I need to suck it up and find a different carrier since Koodo doesn’t seem to be owning up to their mistake. Maybe they need to streamline their organization better so as to avoid such disconnect between their own employees.
UPDATE: Original message still below, but Koodo rep already emailed me and clarified this second offer. Looks good for now.

I spoke with loyalty and was allegedly offered another plan similar to my initial offer - $29 for 60gb + $4 for iPhone 13 CPO. However, checking my service agreement, it seems the plan is once again different from what was discussed (showing $47 monthly vs promised $33).
I can’t reach customer service at all as they’ve deactivated call back through chat and through the traditional phone number.
Is there anyone from Koodo here that can verify for me if I actually got the correct offer this time?
I had a same issue. I signed up koodo for $40 dollars plan with free Iphone 14 (agent told me there will be $10 monthly discount for iPhone 14 for free). I got the phone yesterday, and I checked the bill, and they charged me $50 dollars + $10 for the phone. I am trying to get connected to the customer service but they don’t honor the promised rate and said they can’t do anything more. If it doesn’t get solved, I will just cancel the contract and return everything...:S
