Public mobile is offering a $35 75GB plan vs. koodo $53 70GB plan.   For 2 phones that’s over $400/year.
Is there anyway to get a match on this offer without switching?

I’d prefer the included Canada/US/Mexico coverage too, but would stay if I could match the price. Long time customer (8 years? 10 years? longer?)

thanks!

When you login to self serve and view your plan and then click change plan do you see something close to that?

Are your phones paid off or are you on a tab or tab bonus?

Thanks Dennis.

We are BYOD.

No, only more expensive 5G plans, and cheaper 4G plans.

Do you see any non promo plans on the koodo website that you are interested in?

You should just go to Public Mobile - they are way more willing to give current customers the same deals as new customers. Some you may have to ask for - but most you can just change over to yourself.

Since I moved my husband over to Public Mobile last year (which is Koodo’s sister company) we have been able to upgrade his plan several times (we didn't have to ask for any of these - they were available in our options).

Originally $34 for 50GB, then to $34 for 50GB US-Canada, and just this past couple of weeks to $35 for 50GB US-Canada-Mexico, and finally to the $35 for 75GB Canada-US-Mexico with 1,000 long distant minutes to some countries. These are 5G plans.

Cons: Customer service is through messaging only. We only had one issue that required help, but it was dealt with fairly quickly and I didn't have to go through a stupid bot. They also don't sell phones.

I am thinking of also moving over when my Koodo phone is paid.
