I just came back from Mexico and have been charged $267.93 for the 20 days I was away. I signed up for easy roam to avoid having a crazy charge like this! Last year I went to Mexico without easy roam and I didn’t have any excessive charges. I did not do anything different. I know that I made one emergency phone call and expected a 16$ charge at most not $256.40!!!! My son was charged $11.53 and I was charged $267.93. Both phones were on airplane mode. Could someone please get in touch with me?

We verified the days with the charge and found that the Easy Roam fees were triggered by sent text messages while Roaming. It can be verified in the usage section of the Self Serve account.
The rest of the charges are $18 for calls from Mexico to US and $14.40 for Long distance calls made from Canada to US.
This can also be verified when downloading the invoice as PDF.
I will also include a great help page with details on how roaming is charged.
