My new phone is arriving today and I’ve decided I want to add device protection. The chat bot says i can add it within 60 days of getting a phone and provides a link to add it. When i click the link to add it to my account it forces the new phone/new line popup and doesnt let me just add device protection. 

Does anyone know a work around to get it on or do i need to schedule a call with CS? 

DId you get your self serve confirmation email from Koodo?  If so have you logged into your self serve to add the device care add-on under your plans and add-ons?

When i go to manage plans and add-ons under self serve Device care complete is not there as an option to add.   

And if I go to shop and select add-ons it takes me to the add on page but puts the popup for new phone/new line without any way to get around it.

Have you tried to clear the cache and cookies or open the account in incognito/private mode or even try a different browser or device ? 

After that, test in the same way: 

Manage plan and add-ons. 

In the My add-ons section, click on Manage add-ons.

In the Add-ons available for you section select Add to plan on the Device Care Complete tile
