I am looking to get a tablet plan for my work, because I will be using a browser based app, and playing music through Spotify, with no wifi. Koodo only offers 4GB of data max per month though on the tablet plans.

I’m afraid that this may not be enough - how can I get more? Why would they limit the data I want to use on the tablet but the phone plans offer so much data?

The tablet plan starts at $15. If you need a lot of data, you could get a phone plan and use it on the tablet. $40 can give you 50Gb of data.

All major carriers (Rogers, Bell, Telus, Fido, Virgin, Koodo) have similar data plans with nothing significantly larger.

If you get a mobile plan with Telus, you can get a tablet plan that shares the data and if it is an unlimited plan (throttled) then you will also get unlimited (throttled) plan with your tablet.
