I activated Easy Roam as I am travelling to Mexico soon. The add indicates the cost is $60 for 7 days and I received an email indicating that it has been activated. I am not travelling for another week. Can I activate again before I leave? Will I be charged for the 7 days that I don’t use it from activating it too soon?

Hi ​@Kat7, you have 30 days to use the Travel Pass once added to your line so it should be fine if you’re travelling next week. The pass gives you 7 consecutive days of Easy Roam once activated, you can find more information here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/europe-easy-roam-travel-passes


How did you add your travel pass?

And travel passes are good for 30 days and the 7-day period only starts when you connect to the roaming network and you use data, talk, or send an SMS.

To add the easy roam I text CAR7PASS to 7626. Then I got an email that stated that the following has been added to my Koodo services:

Caribbean Easy Roam 7 Day Pass
Price per month: $0.00
Service effective on: December 10, 2024

The add on the koodo site indicated the cost of $60 for 7 days for Mexico and the Carribean.

I just activated it too soon as I am not leaving until next week. 

Do I need to text CAR7PASS to 7626 again next week or am I fine to leave it as is?


You are good as-is for 30 days to travel.

It’s good you set this up ahead of time.  One less thing to worry about for your travels
