Data limit notification not taking into consideration of bonus data promotion

Why does my data warning warn me based on my base plans data and not the total data including my bonus data promotion? I have a 1GB prepaid plan with 30GB bonus data and I’m getting texts saying I used 100% of data and if I want to purchase 500MB for $30 reply yes. I only used 1GB. Pretty inconvenient as it’s used for my kid who doesn’t control the self serve login and only relies on these texts.

This seems to happen due to the data bonus not being a permanent feature on the account, however, we recommend scheduling a call back through the virtual assist, so our prepaid reps can look into it further https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help
