the reason is simple the phone out of the box it set by default to use 4g 3g 2g and 1g you need to go into setting in CONNECTIONS / MOBLE NETWORKS / NETWORK MODE / and select the one that inludes 5g. its a very easy fix i find ppl all the time with new phones paying for there fancy 5g plan but dont know that it isnt even turned on because the tech overlooked it or was to lazy lol. if it shows LTE by your 5bar icon you have 4g turned on

It would on some cases. And I wished it was always simple like that.
If you search the forum,there were many customers who couldn't get 5G even that option was on.
