Wi-fi calling keeps getting cancelled. You turn it on when there is cellular connectivity and the at some point it gets turned off. Of course, you find it’s turned off when you go to use it and there  is no cellular connectivity- in my case when I am at home.

To turn it on again, the clever design requires you to input a Koodo sent access code which is provided by text, which of course doesn’t work either.

So it seems the only solution is to get in the car and drive somewhere to reset wi-fi calling and then drive back home to use it.

Am I missing something ?

Have you tried turning on airplane mode to see if it triggers the wifi calling feature?

Thank you that worked immediately. Any idea why?

In your wifi calling settings if there any option to prioritize wifi calling when connected to wifi?

No option.

Once the Wi-Fi Calling button is selected, it highlights and a footnotet says  “Mobile Network preferred” with no means to change that.

Unfortunately your device doesnt allow the change.  I know with past updates I had the option to change this.
