I just ported my number over to Koodoo. Agent set up by eSIM. I got the welcome text from Koodoo that says I’m now transferred over but I’m stuck on SOS for over an hour now. In my settings still says my old provider. I can’t call koodoo as I have no service. Does it normally take so long?  I’ve restarted my phone many times. 

Have you tried to remove the old carrier sim card and only use Koodo eSIM in the phone? 
As well, are you currently residing in an area where you had good Koodo signal  coverage?


Yes I tried taking it out. On my phone the carrier still shows as my old carrier

Can you reset network settings of the phone to see if that can help?

If after that, you still saw the previous carrier, check the sim card again to make sure you kept the Koodo eSIM in the phone or not.
