I am currently in Thailand and my sim does not work after having it out of my phone for a few months. My Thai sim works fine. 
I cannot call Koodo due to hi fees on my account connected to my Thai sim. 
I cannot access bank accounts and other accounts because I need to verify my accounts with my phone number. 
Koodo does not have a live chat option only call backs to a number I cannot access because the sim does not work.

what are my options?

What happens when you insert the Koodo sim card?

Have you scanned for local networks manually? That way you can test each one to check if you can connect.
