We received our router(boost wise 6 lite) and the instructions just say to plug it in the LAN port and it should work but we’re having trouble telling which one is the right place to plug it into. There’s 2 different ports on our wall, one is in a cupboard we have for electrical panels and stuff, it’s got a plug in it that goes into a Nokia ONT thing. And the other one is in our living room along the baseboard. They’re both just a little white box that looks like a phone jack so we don’t know what one we’re supposed to plug into. We’ve tried both but after the green light on the router stops blinking it turns solid red. When I looked it up on the Koodo help page it says that solid red means it can’t connect to the internet. When I ordered it I got an email saying that Koodo would let me know if I need a technician to activate the internet or not but I still haven’t received any information other than the one saying it shipped. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi
If the issue persists you can schedule a call-back through our Koodo Assist to speak to our Internet team.
We tried using those instructions already because it was in a link that was sent with the order confirmation, they really don’t say anything other than plug it in and turn it on. And the router we have doesn’t have coax, just a LAN port. We’ve tried both plugs in our house but it still just turns red. When I try to go to the Koodo Assist it just gives a link for cellular monthly or cellular prepaid and nothing for internet.
Is the correct province showing in the top right corner? The Internet service is not available Canada-wide so you may not see the option if you’re not logged in or a different province is selected.
