Hello, I’m using the Galaxy S24FE and have two questions.

  1. VoLTE Activation:
    I’m unable to enable VoLTE on my device. In the Mobile Network settings, I only see the option for "5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect)," but there is no separate setting for VoLTE. Even though I am using the "5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect)" option, VoLTE is not activated. How can I enable VoLTE on my device?

  2. Call Recording:
    Is it possible to use the call recording feature on the Galaxy S24FE? The phone app mentions enabling the recording feature, but there is no option to turn call recording on or off in the app settings. How can I activate this feature?

Can you please confirm the 2 digits coming after the phone number area code, for which you want to activate VoLTE? For example: (XXX) 12X-XXXX

Please don't share the full number.

 

For the call reacordings, you should be able to activate it during the call, using the “3 dots”. Does it work for you?


The middle two digits of my phone number are 43. I’ve also attached an image to show the current screen where the call recording option is missing.
 

 


VoLTE option is aggregated into phone settings as many carriers are not using 3G anymore. You can try to test if your phone was on VoLTE or not by disable wifi and make a call, if the phone maintain 5G or LTE/4G, the VoLTE is on.

As I mentioned ealier, you wouldn't find voltE on the phone  because of the new firmware, either on Android or iPhone. Try to follow my method (mentioned above) to test if you can have volte or not

I think we have some miscommunication here.

The VoLTE will not show. However did the signal switch to 3G or HSPA when you make/receive call?
