Porting a landline to a prepaid esim

I currently have a prepaid Koodo account on my Pixel phone. I would like to port our landline (SHAW) as a second number to an eSIM on my Pixel. I would like the ported landline number to be on a prepaid account as well. 

I've went to two stores and they both told me it couldn’t be done. One store told me that they couldn’t port landline numbers (I know this is false) so I went to another store (Telus) . I was told there that they couldn’t port the landline to a prepaid account. 

can it be done?

You most definitely can. Here’s a screenshot of the prepaid self serve. After entering in a landline number, it gives you the boxes to fill out to port a landline number.

If they won’t help you out in store, you can pick up a prepaid esim and activate it yourself at home.
