7 Days ago I ordered Koodo internet service.
6 Days ago my credit card was charged for the first month on internet service
4 days ago I received the Koodo Modum and WiFi Router and I connected it up as per the Koodo instructions. (I do not have interent service at this time.)
I have not had an email confirming the activation date and stating whether or not a technician visit will be required.

What should I do? (I guess the question is how long does it take before Koodo sends the email with the Activation date confirmation?)

As far as I understand, to be able to process the order, you would have had to select an activation date and approixmate time of day as well. You’re saying that during the order process you didn’t have this part occur?


Earliest activation date is 7 days from the date of ordering, you can select much later ones too though. The activation date should be in the order confirmation email that was sent to you immediately after ordering. It’s also, as Goran mentioned, a date that you choose.

During the order process there was a field for requesting a prefered activation date and time but not a time. In the email from Koodo acknowledgin the order and in the Self Help web pages it says that I will receive an email confirming an activation date and that the email would also indicate whether or not a tech will need to visit for that activation.

The only email I have received from Koodo after placing the internet service order is an email with the subject line: “Koodo Order Confirmation” 
That email only has two dates in it, The order date and the “ Term: November 25, and renews month to month”

I have not received any email confirming the activation date……. 

The activation date I requested while placing the order was November 8th.


I would request a callback via koodo assist and confirm your activation date.
