Hi, I am travelling overseas and I have the physical simcard with me which I registered as an Esim. But when I got a new phone it’s been deleted from my phone and now I don’t have access to my Canadian Number which I need to receive security codes. can you assist with this? I can’t even request a call back from Kodoo as I don’t have a Canadian number
You can find instructions to downloading the eSIM here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/esim-and-esim-vouchers under Setting up an eSIM on Android/Apple.
Important note: once scanned, the eSIM QR code cannot be scanned again, it is single use. Please make sure you do not delete the new eSIM from your phone as it cannot be re-added and you will need another voucher.
which QR code? I am not in Canada and I just asked someone to purchase this esim card! how can I scan a code when I am outside of canada using my camera? I don’r have a QR code
You would need to ask the person that has the voucher to send you a picture of the QR code, perhaps via email, social media or a messaging app. If they’re taking the picture on a phone, they should be careful not to accidentally scan the QR code themselves.
When you’re activating the eSIM make sure you have a working Wi-Fi connection on your phone.
I have activated the ESIM and now I noticed instead of $35 per month I was charged $60? why has this changed? you never told me that if I get a Esim that would remove all the doscounts I have had on my contract
Moving to an eSim is just a sim swap. It does not impact any credits on a plan/account
Please download your detailed PDF ebill and check the detailed billing info pn pages 3 / 4.
Is the plan the same? What is the difference between this pdf ebill and the previous month’s pdf ebill.
Also if discounts went missing, when did you get the discounts? Could it be discounts that expired or dropped off? If you signed up around boxing day 1 or 2 years ago, this would make sense.
yes I had a monthly discount but it’s missing now
