I have a loyalty offer by text and it says there is a $5 reduction for 24 months plus they wave the $70 connection fee. It then gives options to upgrade online or in store.

Does it mean that if I upgrade in store they will wave the connection fee?

And when I looked into it online it says there is a $5 monthly reduction if inset up automatic payments. But that is not what my text says.

I am confused.

What happens when you click " in-store"? Any message or code appears?

If I receive this message, then I'll assume they will waive the connection fee even if I upgrade in store.

When I click the instore option it takes me to the store locator page.

No message or code.

Hi @Penny Potter

Can you please let us know what happens when you log into self serve? Do you see the offer there?

if not, can you please add a phone to the the cart and let us know if you see the offer?

Please note that it only works on select plans.

Hi

The offer does show up today.

It wasn’t clear in the text but when I log in to self serve it says the $70 is waved for online activations.

this has always been the case so I don’t know why they mentioned the $70 fee waived. It was a little misleading.

@Penny Potter

The connection fee is indeed waived for online renewals or activations. In case you decide to get the offer over the phone or in store, this connection fee refund is still applicable for this offer.

Oh that’s fantastic. It wasn’t clear.

Thank you

The offer expires on 2 Dec, and it states that its a stackable deal. I suggest waiting for Black Friday deals before making your choice. You’ll get the best combination of offers then.

Oh wow.

I will wait and see what's on offer for Black Friday.

Thanks

Just so your expectation are tempered, expect Black Friday to be extremely chaotic and to possibly wait in line for several hours and for Koodo’s systems (systems from all carriers actually) to be slow under the extreme load.

Also expect any customer service reps to be more familiar with black friday offers than any of the other promotional offers.  They will likely want to process customers as fast as they can since it is the biggest sales weekend for them.  I recommend doing your research on RedFlagDeals for black friday offers and know what you want prior to arriving at the store.  Also have a back up plan incase the plan or phone is unavailable.
