LinkedIn verification is failing with Clear

Hello,

I am trying to do my LinkedIn verification which is processed by a company named Clear. 

It is failing with a message as follows:

“We weren’t able to verify your identity. Your personal information could not be confirmed. This might happen if you’re using an internet-based phone number or on a non-major mobile carrier.

Then it asks me to update my phone number to a number from a major carrier like Bell, Rogers, and Telus.

Is there anything that can be done?

Have you tried to get in touch with Linkedin support regarding the issue?
