Have not received Koodo referral credits and no one is answering any emails

I signed up in June 2023 with a friend’s referral code and received confirmation that I will soon receive the credits. However it is now April 2024 and both myself and my friend have yet to receive any credits from that referral. 

I have been emailing the Koodo Mobile Refer-a-Friend mailbox for over NINE MONTHS now trying to follow up on this case, but have only received numerous automated responses saying that you will follow up - AND THEN SILENCE. This is extremely frustrating and there’s no point providing an email for referral enquiries when no one is manning the inbox. That mailbox ought to be shut down!

I see that others have faced the same issue as me in this forum. Can anyone share how they managed to resolve their case please? Thanks so much.

I’m only aware of the webstore email still being used. Yes, if you’re still able to respond and no one is monitoring that inbox, it shuld be. I’ll flag a rep to assist, although too much time might have passed.

It’s quite frustrating as i was trying to be ‘polite’ by going to the ‘right’ channels instead of clogging up the main email or forum pages, except that this has really gone on for far too long and I’ve lost all patience. I had dutifully sent a follow up email almost once a month attaching my previous email chain to show that I have provided all the information as requested and am waiting for them to look into this matter.

When completing a referral, the steps have to be completed through the website:  https://choosehappy.koodomobile.com/refer/on/  and if the terms and conditions were met, then the dedicated team will be able to investigate what happened. 

Did you already contacted them via the following form: https://referafriend.koodomobile.com/common/contact.pg ? 

 

Yes I have - I’ve contacted them via koodomobile@support.sparkrefer.com and also https://referafriend.koodomobile.com/common/contact.pg. I have completed all the steps listed on the website https://choosehappy.koodomobile.com/refer/on/, and received an email that my credits are pending approval, that Koodo needs to confirm a few details and will email me when the first credits are applied. This email was sent 26 June 2023 and I have been trying to follow up on that ever since.

Feel free to respond whenever you have the time. 

I have received the private message requesting additional information but once again there has been no news ever since I provided all the information requested. It has been over a week now.

Koodo is not serious in resolving this issue at all and it is extremely frustrating! Each time I raise a request, the matter ends with them asking for further information - information that had already been given to them multiple times before. Is there anyone who is able to help?
