Does anyone know if I can setup a fax line on the Koodo offered home internet service?? What is involved , do I need another provider on top of the internet to do this ?

AFAIK, Koodo internet service uses a cable modem. To my knowledge you would need a phone line in order to connect a fax machine.
Ok, can you tell me if the Koodo modem has a phone jack that can be used to plug the fax machine into and hence function as a fax with a dial tone?
Doesn’t anybody know?
Am I the 1st person to ask this?

You would need an active, running, landline for your fax machine to run off of.
Koodo’s internet service is internet only, they don’t give you a landline number with it and therefore you wouldn’t be able to use a fax machine.
You would have to purchase a landline connection elsewhere.
