Hi there,
So you can do those things and it would be a bit of a process and won't be free. On the pixel 8 are you able to just remove the existing sim from it and put in your current koodo sim? As this will be a lot easier or do you want to use both numbers?
What other sim card is in the pixel?
Can that one switch to esim instead?
I’ve just found the option to convert the SIM to an eSIM. But a message says that if I convert it, the SIM card will no longer be usable. Since I need it as SIM in my phone, I didn’t convert it.
To Oliver C. Yes, i wanted to use both numbers.
Ah ok, in that case yes you can do what you're thinking and this is the process you will have to do.
Firstly, aquire an ESIM voucher from a koodo kiosk or Telus store. Then by following the steps in the link below, change your physical sim to the now acquired ESIM. This will deactivate the current physical sim and switch it to the ESIM you get from the store. The ESIM voucher is normally $10 + tax.
Once you need a physical sim again, you would once again follow the steps in the link but you will need to aquire another physical sim from a koodo store which also costs $10 + tax.
This is because you can't use your previously deactivated one, you will need a new one. But that's it!
