I suddenly got the issue of can’t make or receive any calls since Nov 13, 2024 in Richmond BC, the text and data usage are fine. I login to check my koodo online account, everything is ok no errors, I tried to reset my cellphone to original, it is still not working.

I’m using oppo a11 with android version 11, so it is already auto selected to voLTE, but I couldn’t find that option within my cell phone setting. I tried to look for the koodo services rep, they just gonna ask me to schedule a call. COME ON!! I can’t receive any calls, how can I get the help???

 

I’ve already tried my best to fix it for these days, nothing is working. I read through a lot of old articles within the community, looks like at someday, some points, somehow, it started to work again, but now I just wondering, when will it be working for me again?

VoLTE compatibility is not decided by the phone settings unfortunately. If your device wasn’t on their VoLTE list, your device needs connection to a 3G network for calling.  https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/volte? 

What you could do is to switch the device to HSPA or 3G mode to see if there was any 3G signal coverage in the area. If not, you might have to find another compatible device to work with Koodo network.


I tried to switch to 3G/2G auto, but there is no signals, I go on map to check, my area that cover is 5G, 4G LTE, 4G HSPA+ signals. I was working before Nov 13, why suddenly got the issues? Koodo has recently updates??
