Wrongfully Charged for US Roaming AGAIN while in Canada. I would like a refund please.
Hello,
I have once again been charged for US roaming on my December 2024 bill.
Just like the previous month. I was working on Vancouver Island and had to leave my data on because I use it for work and there is no way of contacting any Kodoo employees to resolve this issue before it is billed out.
Can I please get a refund for the $28 I am being wrongfully charged.
Thank you

Hi @Courtney Stockstad

Hi Flo, I had to remake a new post with the same question under the name “dontwantto” because your system can’t recognize my email as the same account.
Sophia, thanks but if you read the email I originally sent you would see that I cannot turn my roaming off due to my job. This is an ongoing issue that your little link won't fix
This would all be a lot easier if you had a call centre since this happens a lot and posting this issue in public is extremely annoying

Unless you need roaming on all the time for your job (which I dont think you do since you are getting this error fixed), you can always turn this roaming on and off with that Link Sophia sent.
If you plan to roam for your job, turn on that roaming, If you are going to be in canada, turn off the roaming. It is slightly more involved than a 1 toggle switch, but not onerous at all, and definitely a lot less steps than requesting a credit in public every time.
Are you traveling and roaming to the US on a near daily basis? If so, there are some great US-Canada plans where this roaming issue can be eliminated altogether.
Like I said already DENNIS I do need roaming on to do my job in a lot of remote locations and I got charged LITERALLY DOING MY JOB IN CANADA and no I am not in the US or rarely ever in the US at all… this is EXACTLY why I would rather speak to an actual; representative from kodoo instead of all these internet hacks giving there two cents about my situation that is NONE of your business
Are you referring to the extended network coverage connecting to other Canadian networks by highway 14?
